Custom and personalized orders are any orders that involve the buyer providing information to be stamped on the piece of jewelry. Also, any changes to the original design ( ex. adding a charm, change in metal used) constitute a custom / personalized order. Such orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.

All metals are subject to tarnish or slight changes in color due to normal environmental dirt- skin oils, lotions, perfume, etc. A soft polishing cloth meant for jewelry will shine your item up like new. Liquid solutions, ultrasonic cleaners, and polish creams are NOT recommended.
No returns or refunds will be processed for these normal signs of wear that occur with most jewelry.

Hand stamping involves using individual steel letter stamps that make each imprint singly on the metal. It does not involve the use of machinery and is not a perfect art. Sometimes the lettering is not perfect or the spacing not exact. This is not a flaw but simply part of the charm of a custom handcrafted piece of jewelry. However, I strive very hard to stamp letters that are as straight as possible and I will not ship any piece that I would not wear myself. The photos that accompany my items will give you a good idea of the quality of my stamping.

Your order will take an estimated 10-15 business days ( M-F) to process before it is shipped. The shipping time will depend on the method:

USPS First Class Mail- 2-6 days
USPS Priority Mail - 2-3 days
USPS Express - 1 Day
USPS International Mail - varies ( average of 1-3 weeks)

**USPS First Class Mail is the standard method buyers pay for at checkout. Contact me for one of the above mentioned upgrades.

You will receive an e-mail with tracking info when your order has shipped.

**Any orders returned to me in error on the part of the post office or failure of the buyer to pick up an item at their local post office or box will be re-sent by USPS First Class Mail regardless of original service method.

For a small fee your order can be rushed to a 2-3 business day processing time and upgraded to USPS Priority shipping (2-3 days). This applies to US domestic delivery only.

Personalized / custom items are NOT returnable or refundable; this is standard retail policy for customized merchandise. However, I strive to create quality pieces of jewelry that meet the expectations of my customers. If you are not satisfied with a purchase, let me know via e-mail, and we will try to resolve the problem. Buyer is responsible for return shipping in the event that the item needs to be corrected.

*All sales are final after 7 days from receipt ( as per tracking info). This is enough time for you to inspect the piece and any flaw in craftsmanship to show.

Your jewelry will arrive in a My Dot On The Map signature gift box. At this time, we do not offer gift wrapping.
